What type of food should I give to my chickens

I am new to the chicken world and I was wondering what food should I feed them.

IMO pick a brand of complete feed appropriate for their ages and their purpose (layers vs meat). Most brands offer on site help to select the feed you need. Keep treats to a minimum.

They have not started laying yet. I am guessing they are about little over a month or so I am not really sure

I'm new here , i have 20 hens 4 roosters I've noticed.
I purchased my flock,march 12th, i found the first egg in front of coop door, do to fact that my husband hasn't gotten,around to get nesting boxes in,so we went to tractor supply got boxes,the next morning, found another egg in front of door again ,i put that one in box yesterday,so im hoping they'll go in the boxes soon
