I had this hen a couple years ago. She was killed by a racoon last year, but I never knew what type she was for sure. I think the color is called partridge, she had no feathers on her feet, layed light brown eggs, and was about the same size as my RIRs. She was a very sweet hen and I wanted to know what she is in case I ever want another one. Thanks for any help.

She might have been a Brahma cross?

Quote:partridge brahma was my first guess, but the lack of feathers of any sort on the leg speaks otherwise
