What was in this egg???

Just for fun to test out the new incubator we put in some chicken eggs! Today was Day 6 and we hadn't noticed any of the proper veining, so we decided to crack them open. This was the first of 3 and the only one that I think may have been fertile... but we found something weird inside! Is it an embryo that died??? I have no idea!! It was hard in texture and had small white lumps all over it.

Most definitely not an embryo. The egg was not fertile.

I'm glad to hear that it wasn't fertile and that it wasn't an embryo!!! Makes me feel better
If it's something that is consistently in this hens eggs then I don't really want to keep her around!
