Hi all,

I've been trying to figure out what the duckling colours will be and I can find tons of ducklings with this pattern but not what they look like grown so does anyone have any idea what colour the brown ducklings with 4 yellow spots on their backs, although the one on the right the pictures aren't obvious for

If you have pictures that would be amazing!

Thank you!

Where did you get them from? They look a lot like my Khaki cross ducklings so I am thinking they may be Golden 300 hybrids. If so, the one on the left will be female and look similar to a Khaki Campbell. The one on the right will be male and look similar to a black Swedish.

From a smallholding near me, she had every colour of runner duck imaginable but I didn't really take note I was too excited!

Thing is the parents could be different colors mated together and their parents might be a mix of different colors so until they feather out you'll really not know how they are going to be. It's amazing how much they change.

Ah ok thank you, the one with the four yellow dots and eye liner seemed to be quite a common duckling shade and pattern so I thought that might be a standard colour.

Their feathering has changed its more coarse now and less fluffy duckling.

They are just the sweetest little things. Two have been making attempts to quack which is too adorable.

Hi all,

The little ones are starting to get their feathers and the yellow one has turned out to be a girl and white, the black and yellow is turning black and white, also a girl but these two have me stumped.

Are these a mallard type, a chocolate type or just a mix of something?

We don't know their sex yet because they aren't making anything other than baby peeps. The quiet on laying down in the first picture opens and closes her mouth but no sound comes out. The other we think might be a boy because he seems to round up the other ducklings and is a bit of a protector but that could just be their personality.
