what you think they are

    we found these chickens at my MIL's house for Thanksgiving ! Do you think the are roosters are hens ? have no idea what breed they are they were hiding in her flower pot and were very hungry so we took them home ![​IMG]

    The yellow one is a Buff Orpington roo and the red one is a Production Red ( hatchery quality RIR) an looks like it may be a pullet but its hard to tell from the angle on that pic.

    Thanks ! Once we saw them and seen how hunger they were there was no way we werent taking them home !

    The tan/yellow one is a buff Orpington roo and the red/brown one is a production red roo.

    Production red... Mm, I'm going to have to say roo. And the orpington is also a roo.
