I have lost many eggs, a couple of ducklings and last night 9chicks and 6ducklings to something small enough to sneak in without there being any holes or signs of break in in the coop

Just like that, all 15 birdies gone, no feathers nothing.

    Is the coop covered?
Sounds to me like an owl or something.

That would have to be an anaconda to eat that much in a night.
    No. Not snake IMO.

Maybe you have someone who likes eggs, and is wanting to start their own flock?

It's fully covered. It's so bizarre we thought "what about a burglar?" But we have guard dogs so we really have no idea.

What could be that small and eat so much

I keep thinking about it and I think it makes sense to think it's a human only cause we can't find another explanation. But they would have to walk across 2 acres, avoid the guard dogs, make sure the guard dogs don't get out when they open the fence to the area where the coop is, avoid get his/her eyes gauged out by Esmeraldo (roo on my icon pic) and, even if they could achieve all that, why would they have sneaked in and killed those first ducklings and leave the corpse?

The first four ducklings, one went missing and the others we found dead in the morning right next to their mama

Do you have mink in your area? They can get through small spaces.

Well dog my cat. In a creppy turn of events we left the bag chicken starter in the empty coop and yesterday morning the bag had holes in it and a chickie skeleton was next to it.

We all went in there and looked all around and under the hay one by one, first my father in law, then my husband, then me when the chickies and ducklings dissapeared. There was no carcass, no blood, no feathers, nothing.

    Now we find a chickie skeleton a day after??? :( o_O :( :(

    ???

It happened a year ago with a turkey polt but not so creepy. Back then the polt was outside when it went missing we all looked around, didn't find anything and the next day the carcass was in plain sight. But that was the whole carcass and she was outside, back then we thought it was a snake that couldn't digest it, but a snake doesn't take 15 birds and several eggs in 1 night, so we don't think it's that now.

Last night we left Odin (guard dog) inside the coop with the adult chickens and ducks. We finally got eggs again this morning. So whatever it is its not going after our adult birds but is stealing all our eggs and babies and has to be pretty small to get in through a hole we cannot find

Going to leave Odin in there again tonight, it's the only thing that has worked so far

The chickie skeleton is awcking-freaky....brujería '_'?
