New to chicken farming, we were given these 5 girls as a gift, just wondering what breed they were.
The red ones are rhide island reds ,the buff hens are buff rocks..
Rhode Island Reds and Buff Rocks, maybe?
Production Red and Golden Sex Link. They have white tails
Known as hybrids here, production reds and a lighter colour hybrid. Not pure anything but very reliable good egg layers, strong birds will stay healthy in all weathers. Good stock to have, wouldn't part with my three hybrids in a hurry, although hubby's uncle is edging me around to moving them down to his garden...
They are good egg layers for sure, we get 4-5 eggs every day.
Hybrids huh, we love them all, so glad we made the effort to build a coop and get the girls.
We saved them from the city and an unsure future.
Production RIRs and Golden Comets.
Definately Rhode Island Red and Golden sexlink
