have some nigerian dwarfs and am still not comfortable leaving them out on their own at night - to go in and out of their house freely. i keep locking them up in a stall around dusk.
wondering if there is any difference / preference as to what other animal i could keep with them for protection.
i know people use dogs/pyrenees...donkeys...llamas...
the main predators that would be in the area are fox and coyote. i live at the base of a mountain range and i have never experienced bears on my property, but other nearby homes have.
does a fox or coyote really feel intimidated by a llama or a donkey?
please let me know.
