What's the breed of this hen?

    [​IMG]The yellow and black one. We got three from my aunt but she doesn't know what they are and then we hatched two more since we've had them. Just curious to know what we have here

    Look like sex links ( mix breed ) should get lots of eggs from them and should be healthy

    To me the first one looks like an EE and the 2nd a black sex link

    If were both right and it is a true Ameraucana than yes it will lay a blue egg!

    SmallTown, your birds could be sex links, or they could be mixed breeds. They do both look like pullets [​IMG]

    Thanks! In leaning more towards sex links. Just because they both hatched from eggs we got from an older hen that looks exactly like them
