What's the craziest thing your hens have caught & eaten or tried

I've heard stories of chickens catching and eating mice and snakes. My hens chase after the small finches and sparrows that hop around our yard, I have no doubt that the hens would eat them if caught.

One of my chickens once ate a toad that had gotten too close to where they were free-ranging that day. And yes, chickens (at least in my case) are better mousers than cats! They looooove eating mice, if they can get their beaks on them.
