Whats the earliest you'd candle eggs?

Seen some people candle at 4 days, some first at 10. Does candling do any harm? How many times can I candle to see each stage of development? Forgive all the questions, its my first time.

I candle them before i ever put them in the incubator.. checking for cracks and shell porosity

then I candle around day 7 or 10 depending on the type of egg

and once more at lockdown..
