How old? First one is the only cockerel looking chick so far, but they seem a bit young to give accurate guesses.

Well they are about 5-6 weeks old.

Too young really to tell accurately. In a few weeks post side pics of them standing, make sure there is a good view of wattles and comb. Also, what breeds are they supposed to be and maybe where you got them from (farm store, breeder, or individual seller).

Not sure about the breed had bought them from an individual seller but will definitely post side pics of them in a few weeks, like you said.

Good! Could they be “barnyard mix” ... where mom and dad were different breeds or mixes themselves? Irregardless, gender is better determined around 8+ weeks, sometimes earlier as the comb and wattle development are more obvious, and feathering is starting to be more clear with hackle and saddle feathers on the males.
