i killed and cleaned 2 of my Muscovy ducks yesterday
in the stomach contents there is a large hard piece of meat
i assume its the gizzard due to corn etc inside it when i opened it up
i cut out the yellow center and kept the meat but can i eat the meaty part
it smells delicious

Yes, it is the gizzard and is good to eat. Just cut it open and throw the stuff away that is inside and then remove the skin that covers the inside just like you do chicken gizzards.
