whats wrong with my cornish cross chicks?

I have some Cornish cross chicks that are 4 weeks old and they keep dieing.
Their belly are dark and they have a lot fluid in their belly around their organs when I cut one open . They stop eating and drinking and their feather are fluffed.

Hi there, welcome to BYC!

What you are likely dealing with coccidiosis. Very deadly, very fast.

Treat with Corid and make sure it's the only source of water. Make sure no vitamin supplement is given during treatment.

Make sure water is poo free as that is the fastest way it spreads. Keeping bedding dry is also key.

thanks for the vote of confidence but I am really weak on diseases, diagnosis and cures/corrections. I haven't even had a CX die on me unless it was one well beyond its very short lifespan (that's 10 weeks) because I wanted to breed her.
