whats your chickens favorite treat?

    I an kinda new to chickens we had them on the farm when I was a kid but they were stricktly in the coop egg producing chicken they were white chicken layed brown eggs. I was 10 when we left the farm and dont remeber much of feeding the chickens. What is your chickens favorite?

    ME - the ultimate treat dispenser! Anything I bring into the run, they want to sample and sometimes devour, including the occasional finger. [​IMG]

    mine love cracked corn / wheat / cheerios / pears / oatmeal / spagetti squash / grape tomatoes / big tomatoes / bread haha i live in pennsylvaia 1st year with chickens and love it

    This is our first time with Silkie Chickens. Today I had some leftover brown rice cooked with
    broth instead of water. Just a little left....gave to the Chickens. They loved it.

    Of all the treats they get meal worms have to be at the top of the chart. then raisins.

    dubia roaches, madagascar roaches, crickets, mealworms, superworms, wax worms, and silkworms... i breed all of them except crickets... because they stink... but they go crazy for crickets more than the rest...

    they also love strawberries...
