What's your favorite breed and why?

I am 6 weeks into raising our first group of chicks and I just KNOW we're going to want more in the future!! So many breeds--I want a bunch of all of them!

What are your favorite breeds? Specifically good/hardy in colder climates, relatively calm/friendly, that lay a good amount of eggs.

Right now, I have BCM, Lavender Orp, Buff Orp, Red Star, Welsummer, Brown Leghorn, Pioneer/Dixie Rainbow, Olive Egger, Delaware (Roo only), Barred Rock, and Ameracuana.

My favorites are Black sex links! Mine is sooooo friendly and she just loves being petted and held.
