I don't think this qualifies, as it is non alcoholic, but I love milk kefir, made with our goats milk and kefir grains from Australia!

Last year we gave homemade Irish Cream to our best friends. We found some really nice carafes that had a blackboard paint area so we labeled it and put a bow on in it and hand delivered them.

That stuff is good! I will have to dig up the recipe tonight for you. Just to note, this has fresh dairy in it so it needs to be refrigerated.

Finally, I get a chance to get this on here! Sorry for the wait.

Irish Cream

1 can (14 oz.) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condenced Milk
12 oz. whipping cream
3 eggs
1 cup Brandy or Whiskey (we use Jameson whiskey for authenticity :)
1/4 teaspoon coconut flavoring
1 1/2 tablespoons chocolate syrup.

Blend in blender until well blended.
Keep refrigerated. Shake well before serving.

This is very rich, we serve about 1/4 cup in a glass over an ice cube. You can always get seconds if you need more. :)

Just a hint - put the cream, eggs and whiskey in the blender, put on the top and start it before pouring in the condenced millk. Otherwise the milk tends to pool a little below the blade and not all of it will be blended in.
I use 3/4 cup of Egg Beaters for the eggs because I don't have home grown eggs and can't find pasturized in the store.

And for those of you who host the party, we make this in a 5 quart ice cream bucket and keep it in the freezer.
It is tradition to have this at my partents for holidays, buti like to have it onhand for summer BBQ's.

Brandy Slush
2 cups boiling water
4 black tea bags
6 cups boiling water
2 cups sugar
12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate
12 ounces frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups apricot brandy

FOR NON-Alchoholic
1 can apricot nectar OR
1 can apricot halves pureed and strained

Let 2 cups of boiling water and 4 black tea bags stand for 5 minutes.
Mix 6 c. boiling water, sugar, frozen orange, frozen lemonade, and apricot brandy.
Stir in tea and Freeze.
TO SERVE: 1/2 c. of mix to 1 to 1 2/2 c. soda. Two or three ice cubes to keep cool.
We like Squirt for the soda, but basically, use a sour-citrus flavored soda. 7-up tends to be too sweet.

And one more while I am at it - a dessert for the festivities.

Freezer Grasshopper's

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream softened
4 ounces white creme de cacao white
4 ounces creme de menthe extract
4 ounces whipped cream regular
Mix all and put in freezer.
The alcohol keeps it from freezing solid.

ALTERNATIVES:
Brandy Alexander- use brandy in place of creme-de-menthe
White Dove - use ameretto in place of creme-de-methe
