So I know I have a few songs that no matter how bad things get, I can listen to them and it all just seems to melt away.

Sting - Fields of Gold, and IZ - Somewhere over the Rainbow, and Don Williams - I Believe in You, always do that for me, but Zac Brown Band - Whatever It Is, is my ultimate melt away my troubles song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RJrNnRpVHg

So
what is your ultimate melt away your troubles song?

Gary Allen - Life Ain't Always Beautiful!

It was playing when we left Seattle Children's Hospital after being told our daughter had Rett Syndrome and would never amount to anything. Now 4 years later, I realize how stupid that doctor was. Yes, she has Rett Syndrome and is non-verbal, with no hand function and limited mobility, but she is one of the most amazing things ever and she definitely amounts to something. EVERY person in this world amounts to something.

Editted to add: That hospital is an absolute WONDERFUL place, this doctor was just blunt.

This is my all-time favorite song!!! Somewhere in time. Not the John Tesh version, he doesn't do the song justice, Christopher Peacock's version is great though. http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/vi...0e8bfe5df902bbeb70170e8bfe5df90-1627516830108 Be patient it takes a few seconds for the song to get going.
Love some of the songs you mentioned but this is definitely the song that takes me to my most wonderful place no matter what my mood. It's funny 'cause I usually am not a fan of Rachmaninoff but this song...

Same old Lange sye by Dan Fogelburg.... Me and my Grandma loved that song! Leader of the Band by Dan Fogelburg reminds me of my grandpa.... I also like Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty, and Gold by John Stewart..all these songs are comforting to me... Reminds me of when I was little...
