whatwhat color is she? shes a oegb i think

    People have already told me before that the hen is a BB red but i don't think so,[​IMG]
    because it has a yellowish color instead of the brownish bb reds have in the neck feathers.

    Looks like what they call a McLean hatch. Most offspring will be partridge in color.

    Thank you Sunflour, and Andy Tomberlin. Bantamlover21 and wyandottes7 i know, I used to think the same way than you guys but ginger reds are slightly smaller, blue feet and don't have those black/brown lines on the neck feathers, which has driven me to the conclusion of thinking that it could be a crossbreed of a ginger red and a bb red.

    No problem. The only reason I say that is because I have one that looks just like it. Very high strung little girl but she is better than an incubator for hatching :)

    Their name is Black breasted Red, and that is a picture i found on google. I used to have one.
