I have two 4 week old Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana chicks. Here are some photos. Chick 2 is significantly smaller than chick 1 and chick 1 has the more dominant personality and stands more upright. Neither are showing any color in their combs yet.

I'm pretty sure chick 2 is a roo - am I correct? And I'm not totally sure about chick 1.

Hmmmm... I'd be inclined to say that chick 2 is a cockerel... I have one 6week old blue wheaton ameraucana cockerel (had two... my bad golden mix killed the other on Mother's Day which I am positive was a little pullet)

I know this was a LONG time ago. But what did they end up being? I have a blue wheaten ameraucana I'm trying to figure out but its only 3 weeks old. But has a lot of dark like your second chick did.
