Okay so I am going to put wheels on my coop. How do you guys do it? I could go to harbor freight and get the wheels an then go track down some round iron stock for axle and drill a hole for cotter key. Or is a bolt on wheel assembly some where? Thanks

For dry weather, I just use boat trailer jacks. For wet weather, I have a shaft and turf tires. Click my coop link if you want to take a look. Skip the build and go to the second page for a look at the jacks and tire/axle setup.

Thanks I bought 8" tires at Harbor Freight they were only $5.49 each.

I just built a wheeled coop using flat-free hand truck wheels that I bought at Home Depot.

These were a bit wider than wheelbarrow tires which should help when the ground is soft. They did not cost much more than tubed tires. So far they are working well to support a lot of weight.
