I have an Americana about 6 months old that has been wheezing. No coughing, sneezing, swollen nostrils, or any mucus. She started the other day and none of the others are doing it. She is eating and drinking. What should I do?
I did have a bloody Americana egg but unsure if it was her or my other Americana.

Have you looked inside her mouth and throat? That's where you are likely to discover the source of her wheezing. Look for light colored plaques lining the throat. Look for a foreign body lodge in the center of the throat (larynx).

Also examine the crop. Sometimes an impacted or sour crop can back up into the throat causing wheezing.

A bloody egg probably has nothing to do with wheezing unless your hen is behaving sick in general. Then it could be caused by a serious infection.
