I'm considering getting a bantie roo, he's already crowing and is 6+ months old. How long after I get a roo can I expect to see fertile eggs?

My BSL roo is 5 1/2mos and he started mating my hens two weeks ago...no crowing yet. I am getting fertilized eggs now & have for about a week now. Hope you get them soon!
