I got 2 pekin ducklings from ideal 1 week ago. They are growing like crazy even though they don't seem to eat much.
I am looking forward to giving them treats. So, when can I give them treats such as: lettuce, koi food, tomatoes, applesauce, and strawberries?
I already gave them some mashed bananas and they loved it. Also, should I start giving them grit? If so, what kind? Thanks!

Funny mine don't like bananas. They go nuts over peas and corn. You should give them grid or sand. I give mine sand only and that since they are 3 days old. It's ok not to give it the first week. You can buy a bag of builders sand in the hardware store for much less then grid at the feed store. They don't need that once they free range. You can give them treats at this point, and it does help to "train" them somewhat.
