when can I give my chicks greens and treats?

    ok what treats are good for chicks I know hard-B. eggs are good. what foods need grit what foods don't?

    Chicks need grit as soon as they start eating anything other then their chick starter. I personally don't feed chicks treats at all until they are two or three weeks old and even then it's just a little. A few peas left over from dinner, a bit of scrambled or hard boiled egg. I keep it to a minimum and just let them eat their starter.
