I have 3 birds that have been isolated since about Jan 2. One of them I suspect mites on. She is stills missing feathers, and has red skin. The other 2 w/ her seem fine, and have all there feather, where she is missing them. Am wondering should I wait until she is fully feathered until introducing her to the flock. Here are pics of what is going on.

She looks to me like she is finishing up a molt. Their skin can be quite red when there are no feathers.

Quote:When I got all 3 of the new birds they were molting. However, the other 2 weren't this red. And my others that molted didn't get this red. That's why I expect something other than irritation from the molting. So do you think it's ok to let the 3 of them w/ the rest of my flock now? They have been separated for 37 days now.
