When can they live outside with the "big girls"

My friend offered me a few of her 6 week silkies - I don't really have the time or set up to have them not in the coop, so I'll pass if they can't go outside right away. I've never started with a young one - My youngest was 12 weeks or so.

I've been moving my 5 and 6 weekers outside now. The weather is more temperate (at the most it drops to the 50's at night) and they seem to do fine. If you have the ability maybe hang a heat lamp in the coop to use at night. I don't have power at my coop and its too far for an extension cord so my chicks just make do. I would definately not pass up on silkie babies, if you don't want them send some my way!!!
