When can you give the babies treats?

I know the chick starter feed is best for them but at what age can I start giving treats to our babies? We have never had chicks or chickens before .

I would say at two or three weeks!

I did after 2-3 weeks. I just gave them time to grow stronger, then started with small amounts of fresh food and made sure it was cut into tiny tiny pieces.

It's ok to give them little treats at 3 weeks, but let me caution you... it makes for MUCH stinkier chick poo!! Just like a baby!

Hi.....I had some extra eggs and hard boiled them up. Chopped them really fine and hand fed to duckies and chickies at about 1 1/2 weeks. I swear...ducks grew overnight ! Can't believe how fast they are growing.
