When did your chickens start laying: Cochins

    So my cochins are about 27 weeks...and I still haven't gotten any eggs


    so I was wondering....when did yours start?

    I have white leghorns and they started laying at about 5 months but some chickens can take up to 10 months to lay their first egg.

    I have a RIR that just started laying last week at 30 weeks and her sister goes in the henhouse and just watches her until she's finished, then they both walk out together! [​IMG]
