My Chicks are going to be six weeks old this weekend and they seem to have full feathers except the bottoms and there heads.
Are the capable of going to the coop, and will I need to keep the red light on!

How many chicks do you have, will they be the only birds in the coop and how large is the area they will be in? Can you post a photo of your chicks (this helps us better "see" what you are describing)? Generally speaking my chicks are outside by 5 weeks of age, including one year where the very next day we woke up to several inches of snow - as I don't have electric in my coop they are weaned off the supplemental heat before I move them. What I would suggest is take the supplemental heat off of them now and see that they are able to maintain their temperature without it in the brooder and them move them out to the coop so they are already accustomed to not having the light.

Thanks for the reply back, I updated my photos w/ a couple more pic's. One pic is of just one, can u tell if its a male or female?
also there is a pic of 3 more on there roost.
