    My guess is about 16 weeks old and you should get eggs somewhere around 19-24 weeks old.

    I still have a couple hens that have the same look to their comb and wattles as this one. Mine are 18 weeks old. They are showing no signs of maturity, whatsoever. Yet, they are both at the top of the pecking order.

    Some people say thier ameraucanas lay eggs at 16 weeks

    She looks like a lighter version of my Louise who is 20 weeks old and still no eggs. She is the Dark Red one standing up.

    My ameraucanas look the same way. We got them in April which would make them 16 weeks or so.
