When does a chick become a woman?

I know a pullet is a hen less than a year old.

I know a chick is,.......... well, a chick.

When does a chick become a Pullet?

Would fuzzybuttedness (new word), or lack of, be an indicator?

Has the National Association for the Advancement of Chicks and Pullets made a determination?

Never only human girls turn into woman...
As to chickens ,depends on the breed I guess...Mabey as soon as they start laying or point of lay...
