At what age can you pretty much assume your chick isn't getting any bigger?
I was wondering what age I would need to put a permanent leg band on my birds without the chance of them growing more and getting it imbedded in their legs.
    Thanks!

You're probably safe around four months. I'm not positive but it should be safe by then.

    Neat!
That isn't very old it seems!
A lot different than dogs and cats, I guess!
What age in general do they start laying eggs?
(I know this has been covered but am being lazy and don't want to hunt for it - haha)
    Thanks!

It depends on the breed when they finish growing. Some breeds are much slower maturing than others.
