Monday. Just look at a calender, don't count the day you set them. Count the following day as day number 1. In your case 2/4 is day #1. That is how i understand it

    Hi,
I'm new at this. Just bought an incubator and haven't tried to hatch any eggs yet. I keep reading about "lock down". I know my ignorance is showing, but what exactly does lock down mean?

Lockdown is the last three days of incubation. You stop turning the eggs, increase your humidity and sit on your hands until the eggs have hatched. [IMG]

Ok! Thank you very much. I think I'll keep reading before I get my first batch of eggs. Seems theres a lot more to it than putting eggs in an incubator and waiting for them to hatch!

I always say it like this...if you set on 1100 monday morning, then you count....tuesday 1100 is one day, wed at 1100 am is two days, thurs at 1100 is three days, etc, etc...
