How old should the Roos be before you eat them? Right now my Leghorn Roos are about 5 mo. old, and they are starting to show a bit too much 'tude! [IMG] It's got me wiping down the Dutch Oven and planning out recipies! Wondered though - should I wait till they are a bit older?

at 5 months they should be fully grown

fatten them up for 2 weeks and send them to freezer camp

Quote:How do you "fatten them up"? I've got them on Grower Pellets, with the occasional treat of this and that veggie stuff, plus whatever unknowingly crawls into their run. What else should I do?
