Hi All!

I have one hen (Nutmeg) laying and 5 other hens that are not laying yet. i have three golf balls in the nesting box to teach them where to lay. Nutmeg lays right by them. When shoud I take the golf balls out? When the other chickens start laying? Any advice?

What are the age differences between your girls? Breeds?

The one time I used "fake" eggs & left it in, I got 3 broodies out of 5 Wyandottes. That was the first time I had to use "fake" eggs, prior never ever used any and the eggs were/have been laid in the nest.

I did not have this, although I breeding chickens just 2 years.Despite this, I have a small golf course on the plot and the chickens love to run alongside when I play.Especially they really like my best golf stand bag without which I do not go on the field.I searched for it for a long time and it’s better to carry golf bag https://golferexpert.com/best-golf-stand-bag/ what I had. Despite this, they don’t miss the opportunity to sit on golf balls.

I have left ceramic eggs in with my Golden Comets for 30 months.
I also have Barred Rocks 6 months old and I leave ceramic eggs in their nests too.
No need to remove so far. 20190206_093136.jpg . The white egg is ceramic. GC
