    :hmmOats, Flax,amaranth, Millet, un-cracked buckwheat, barley, dried peas, kelp, sea salt, and lots of frozen kale ** I am going to put the peas;wheat;buckwheat;barley in the grinder**:thumbsup

    Well to report back-- The chicken did great those few days. I cooked steel cut oats on the morning of the 13th and added cooked peas, they loved it. We were able to make it down our hill on the 14th and not back up, the snow was to deep. DSCN2777.JPG But my husband backpacked up a 30lb bag of @Purina Organic Layer. Our temperatures came up and it rained yesterday.
