When to Caponize

    This isn't for meat purposes, just for crowing. If a cockerel starts to crow, then gets caponized, would he still "crow" or would it be better to caponize him before he crows?

    Sometimes they still crow even if caponized much younger than this. As I understand it, the safest time by far is a very young age, I think in the first week or two.
