When to get eggs to incubate

I'm planning to get 6 wyandotte eggs soon to incubate im hoping to get them in august (i dont know if this site is american or from a different country but im in Australia where august is the end of winter) but what is the best time to get them?

BYC is US based. I'd suggest avoiding raising chicks at the hottest time of the year, as chicks can struggle to keep cool. Apart from that, I'd say go for it anytime!
