When to start integrating

    Hi I have three chicks that five to six weeks old they are just about fully feathered and ready to go out side how do I get the flock to like them I have nine hens and one rooster and they like to peck on the little ones thanks for your help

    Set up a temporary see-no-touch area for a few weeks. They need time to get to know each other.

  3. Have any rabbit cages? I just put them inside of it and set the cage in the center of the chicken house. When you let them out, make sure you're there the whole time to make sure nobody gets too aggressive with them. Some pecking is expected as they need to establish the pecking order. :)
