When to take Baby Quail off heat?
Just got some ^^^

From what I understand they are like chickens and heat can be removed when they are fully feathered provided it's not freezing if they are outside.

By the end of the 4th week they will be fully feathered and usually ready to come off the heat lamp. Don't rush it though or their metabolism will sap energy used to grow the body in order to grow feathers faster. At any rate until they are fully feathered they cannot retain body heat, and until they're grown up they don't generate much to begin with.
