    Hey Ya'll!

I'd like to feed my chicks some treats. How old do they need to be and what can I give them? Also, I feel like they need to play more, is there some kind of toy or something I can do to entertain them.

I start them on finely chopped spinach and boiled egg yolk at about 4 days old. They love it and it doesn't seem to cause pasty butt. As they get big enough I give them corn and peas or in good weather chopped up grass. At a week old I also give them a dish of construction sand to bathe in and get grit for their crops.
