Well I have a ee cockeral that's 18 weeks old. He has not crowed yet. How long should it be before I start getting fertile eggs? I want to get my hatching skills good and it would be able cheeper if I could hatch my own eggs.

    Thanks

It is possible at any time. It will help if you have hens. [IMG] But seriously, whenever he starts mating the girls, you can start checking the eggs for fertility.

He still gets beat up by the hens. Will he eventually toughen up?

One day he'll find out what he's there for, then watch out chickies.
