We got the bantams in I think March. When will there be eggs?
Depending on the breed usually 5 to 7 months.
x2 depending on breed and quality of bird (hatchery vs breeder) and various other factors 24 weeks is a good average and anywhere from 4-8 months is still in the normal range for most birds.
A regular size chicken typically lays around 20ish weeks, can be a month before or can be a month (or longer) after. I thought I read that bantams don't lay as quickly though
