When will my girls get their combs and waddles?

[My Very First 6 Chickens]

Hello! I have 6 females that are 12wks old. One was born with a comb, but since born none have combs or waddles. Is this common?? Thanks!

Do you have some photos? Maybe we can help you figuring out what type of comb do you girls have
Not all chickens have the same shape of comb, there are many comb-forms in the chicken world.
Maybe the other ones have pea or strawberry or walnut combs, so it seems they don't have a comb since their combs are smaller.

That's a golden laced wyandotte. They'll have a rose comb, which is much shorter than a single

One of the girls was born with a mini single comb, but it has not grown at all!

Well a mutt makes sense. I got them from TSC and was told i was purchasing black sex links!!

Yep. That definitely sounds like TSC!

Your chickens have rose combs and look like Gold Laced Wyandottes. The combs will get a little larger when they are ready to lay but won't get as large as the one in the diagram posted by Skyle. That rose comb is on a rooster and your ladies will have smaller combs. The one with the single comb is a non-conformist . She should have a rose comb like the others.
