Likely in a month or two as the days get longer and it warms up. I'm waiting on some of mine too which were hatched april/may of last year.
Okay, so this is typical....Thanks They do a lot of "strutting" around but I have not seen much else yet....
if you give them a light like I do, they will come in to lay sooner. I am up to my ears in eggs and I am going to set eggs soon.
Our toms are strutting around like puff daddys. The females are starting to be receptive, I guess I need to put a nesting box out for them. Is it really the middle of February? I've got 10 turkeys in an inclosure that is 400 feet total. Is that enough room for all of them to breed or do I need to split them up a bit???
The turkeys need 5 sq feet per bird. so I think you have lots of space!!!!!!! if I'm right that's 50 sq feet. I think, TOOO TIRED TO THINK RIGHT NOW LOL.
Actually, I got mine in June come to think of it....so when if that's the case? Argh! I need to write things down!!
