When will my orpington and wyandotte start laying?

I know that every chicken is different, but has anyone had a buff orpington or silver laced wyandotte and know when they started laying????? Mine are about 4 months and im pretty excited for their first eggs

I've had both breeds. If I remember correctly, mine started to lay around 28 weeks.

I have girls that were hatched on July 9 th and one of the 4 buffs starting lay yesterday. I also have silver laced wynadotte but they seem a little behind the other girls. So exciting probably anyday!

Then get ready because I would say in a month or so you will have eggs. Another good indication is your hens will start squatting and hanging out in the nesting boxes. Also my girls start clucking almost screaming when the get ready for the first egg something I was not expecting...

I already have some laying hens, so I know that whole procedure haha I'm just knew to these breeds
