I have 18 red sex links that are about 27 weeks old
I have had then 3 to 4 weeks and haven't seen any eggs yet. im wondering when they will start laying

If they were moved to your place, they have to adjust to their new environment. It is likely they will not resume laying until the spring.
However, I too picked up 3 laying pullets that were about 26 - 30 weeks when I got them. One of those girls started laying for me 1 week after I got them. But just one.

This could be part of the problem:
I have light 24/7 in three of my coops
They need a dark period.....~8 hours.

Can you post some pictures? Are their combs getting big and bright? What are you feeding them? I recommend keeping them on a higher protein grower and just adding a separate bowl of oyster shells for the calcium needs.

Where are you located? In the northern hemisphere decreasing daylight will slow maturity.
