When you say outside do you mean outside side?

I'm confused... I have one and half week old chicks, they are in my bathroom. So that's indoors right? And I have my coop... is the inside of that, inside or is it outside? CAn I put my week plus chicks on the "inside" of my coop and have them be safe or are they outside because their outside (ok now I've just not had enough sleep and am being silly, listening to chicks all night can do that)

If I put them in the coop with the 250 watt bulb is that ok or should I keep them in the house a while longer??????

id say its inside. but whos going to listen to the crazy german woman with chickens and ducks in the laundry room. As long as they are warm draft free and dry they are fine.

If you can keep your temps consistent with your heat lamp on, then yes, inside your coop should be fine. Our chicks arrived Monday and are in the brooder in their coop with the heat lamp on........a balmy 95 degrees in the center of the brood box.
