When?

    My 2 runner mix girls are soon to be 10weeks old.
    Should I expect to see them lay within the next 6-7 weeks?

    usually around 5 to 7 months old. the older the less of a chance of laying problems later. Don't start feeding layer till closer to laying.

    Awesome! I'm highly anticipating their eggs! Thanks for the advice!
    I was puzzled when I heard they could lay at 16weeks!

    Mine almost always laid right at the 6 months mark

    17-24 is the range for lightweight laying breeds, according to Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks. 20-22 weeks is ideal.
